BBQ Gathering 12 Jan

This is the first gathering wis my buddies of 2008, n we had a full attendance except tat my little gf is not present. I am very delighted bcos it proved tat we can have successful gathering w/o me as the organizer... hahaha... however b4 the BBQ i had met up wis one of the buddies for a game of bowling... n to my surprise i had the worst score ever since i know how to bowl, less than 110!!!... so decided to stop after the second game... sigh... very very disappointed.

 

One thing scary in the BBQ is the topic we are discussing abt...i remembered tat we used to talk abt soccer, computer stuff, places where nice foods are and entertainment news... but now, we starts to disuss HDB application, wedding preparation and home reno stuffs... yeh... u r rite... we have grown up... BUT after the fun gathering, i still need to go back to work bcos of one colleague took MC last min :(

 

Straight after the BBQ, i started to feel discomfort and irrtation in my throat. Most probably i had inhaled too much smoke from the buring charcoal and finally i fell sick... So the whole of Sunday i knockout til night after taking medicine. But in the end i still end up goin to the midnight clinic as it got worse n my temperature shoot up to 39 degree... The best part is i still need to work the nxt day, which is today, as nobody can replace my shift... Sigh... tink abt it, i had to stop my BBQ halfway n come back to work to cover the fellow who took MC... and now the fellow whom i covered refused to cover me... really "hao xin mei hao bao"...

Anyway CNY is coming, i hope the annual CNY dinner wis my buddies will hav a full attendance as well.....

2008 Resolution

Overall in 2007, I is a good year for me and after reading some articles, 2008 will be a better year for me. But sadly my handphone is dying...why...why...it start to die after using less than 2 yrs :( For career I believe it will be better as I already got a pay rise for 2008. My company HR also promise us for a better career advancement. For relationship, I plan to get married by 2010 so I am trying very hard to save my "Lao Po Ben" ;) My 2008 resolution is to work hard, go for at least one holiday to China or Taiwan (anyone joining me???), saving a lot of $$$, complete my M.A.S.K. figure collection and buy a HP. Lastly I also hope to have more things to write in this blog.

What have I done on 2007

It has been a long time since I update my blog. Year 2007 has ended, and I think it has been a great year for me. Although there are some little hiccup but I have overcome them.....hahaha.....
In term of job, finally I have stayed in my current company for more than a year. At last, first time getting a full BONUS at the end of the year, wahaha. Another good news is my company was also bought over by C***o C*r*is and they are reviewing our benefits, pay and career advancement, hehehe. My future now looks a bit more promising liao.
In term of relationship, it also look promising at the moment, haha. My gf was here for a month during Oct. Unfortunately she is not able to work in SG due my some family reason of hers.
Anyway 2007 seem to be a fruitful year for me as I am able to fulfill a few of my dreams. First is to bring my gf home to meet my parents, in the end she stayed with my family for a month. Second is to travel with my loved one which I went to Genting with my gf. Third is to pay for my parents to go for holiday and they had booked a 8 days Korea + Shanghai tour during the CNY. Fourth is to pamper myself with lots of gadget and toys and in the end I bought 1 Sony MP3 player, 1 Sony MP4 player, upgrade my PC, a few comics collectibles, and finally a Tag Heuer watch.
I also made a big decision by throwing all my CPF to investment...at first it was good BUT coming to the end of 2007 bcos of U.S. it start to drop. So I am praying that 2008 will better.....
