Asia Aerospace 2008

Asia largest aerospace was held in Singapore and I was there today. Yes!!! I was there on the trade day!!! All thanks to my lovely colleague who gave me the trade show ticket for FREE!!! Today is the last day of the trade show but surprisingly there are still a lot of pple and even the elderly.

Have been to several singapore aerospace event before but there is always no chance of sitting into the cockpit of a plane or even a mock-up plane. Today because is only open to pple with invitation ticket instead of public so the queue is not long and finally I got a chance to sit in a mock-up F35 cockpit!!! First time in my life lei..... Look at the joystick.....does it look like my PC joystick which is a replica of the real F16 lei, haha.....

Although my ticket is by invitation, there is no privilege to board the world largest passenger aircraft, Airbus A380. They said it is fully booked for the day and it is only 10am, the aerospace open on 9:30am. What a pity, I missed A380 2 years ago and not again for this year!!! I promise myself to board the A380 at least once in my lifetime..... and at the moment A380 has daily flight to Sydney operated by SIA.

The static display was not that great this year, and since I still got some time before the air display so I boarded 2 private jet. WOW, the smell of leather from the seat was very strong and there is a mini bar in it, no wonder it is for the rich.

Airshow was great and it lasted for abt 1.5 hrs. As usual, after watching the airshow on every aerospace, I am toasted. Hope I will not have a painful suntan.....

CNY 2008

Chinese New Year is over, no excuse for mahjong liao.....hehe.....
The predication for goat this year is very good, but I sprain my back on CNY eve, sore throat on CNY first day and cough on the fourth day of CNY. Worse is that the sinseh to treat my back is out of SG til 13/2/08!!! Tat means I will walk like a pregnant lady for at least 1 week!!!

As for wealth.....not much winning lei. I think can forgot abt lottery as well.....still think the best way to accumulate wealth is to work hard.....

During the CNY period, my parents were on holiday and I get to use the car for a week, but I did not make the full usage as I need to work on the first n second day of CNY, furthermore my beloved little cute gf is not with me. I am sooooo lonely :(
But I still got my lovely buddies who manage to accompany me most of the days. As usual the annual buddies reunion dinner was organise by me again, and this year it was held at Long Beach at East Coast Park on 17/2/08. Again as usual not a full attendance, as I expected, nevertheless it was the most delicious and filling reunion dinner ever organised. The pity thing is that it was on Sunday n most of them need to work on the next day so no further activities. PS. the reunion dinner price is getting more and more expensive every year.....next year I expect $900 a table!!!





As for movies, managed to watch 2 movies, Ah Long Pte Ltd n CJ7, in the same day with my "gay buddy". I would say 3.5 out of 5 stars for both movies. BUT dun expect for a good story line.....

At last CNY is over n my cute little gf has left her house to meet her friend in Shenyang to go to Taiwan. Things between us still goin smoothly n if w/o any changes I should be able to meet her in Taiwan during Apr or May.

Hope tat this year will be good for me and all my goat buddies.....
